Data deletion
Last updated: 16 October 2026
You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and you can remove Crescaler's access to your Facebook and WhatsApp account yourself. Here is how.
1. Remove Crescaler's access to your Facebook / WhatsApp account
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
- Find Crescaler Business Messaging and select Remove.
- Or, in Meta Business Settings → Integrations → Connected apps (or the WhatsApp account's Partners), remove Crescaler.
Once access is removed, Crescaler can no longer send or receive messages for your WhatsApp account. The stored access token stops working and is deleted with your account data.
2. Ask us to delete your data
- Email [email protected] from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject Data deletion request and your business name.
- We confirm the request within 7 days, and may ask you to verify that you own the account.
- We delete your data within 30 days of confirming.
3. What we delete
- Your dashboard users and logins.
- Your WhatsApp connection details and access tokens.
- Contacts, conversations, messages, templates, campaigns, chatbot and reminder settings.
- Uploaded files, support tickets and their attachments.
We keep only what the law requires, such as invoices and payment records, for the required period. Messages already delivered to your customers' phones stay on their phones; that is outside our control.
4. If you are a business's customer
If you chatted with a business through Crescaler, that business controls your data. Ask the business directly, or email [email protected] with the business name and your phone number and we will pass it on and help. To stop a business's promotional messages, reply STOP to it on WhatsApp.
